The Wall Street Journal revealed talks by Meta Platforms, the parent company of the Facebook platform, to integrate its generative artificial intelligence model with the artificial intelligence system for iPhones, which Apple recently unveiled.
Besides Google and Meta, artificial intelligence startups Anthropic and Perplexity are in discussions with Apple to integrate their generative AI models with Apple Intelligence, but so far discussions have not been completed and could fail. Deals with Apple would help AI companies distribute their products more widely.
